Article 1: Preamble
These General Conditions of Sale (GCS) apply to sales made on Afrostore.be.
Article 2: Conclusion of online contract with Afrostore.be
1. Browse and select products:
Visit the Afrostore.be website to browse the selection of available products.
Choose the products you wish to purchase and add them to your shopping cart by clicking on the corresponding button.
2. Proceed to payment:
Once you have completed your selection, click on "proceed to payment" to proceed to the next step.
3. Check the cart and the total amount:
Before finalizing the order, check your cart to ensure that all the desired products are present and that the total amount of the order is correct.
4. Accept the general conditions of sale:
Read carefully and accept the general conditions of sale as well as the confidentiality policy of the Afrostore.be site.
5. Finalize the order:
You can choose to complete the order as a guest by providing your name, address and email address, or by creating an account on Afrostore.be.
6. Select payment method:
Choose your desired payment method from the options provided, such as credit card, debit card, bank transfer or PayPal.
7. Check order details:
Before confirming the order, please be sure to carefully check the details of your order, including the products selected, quantities, prices and delivery costs.

Article 3: Products
Afrostore by Teroubi, through its website afrostore.be, offers a selection of unique handcrafted items imported from West Africa. Each product is unique and may have variations in color, shape and size, due to its handcrafted nature.
Article 4: Price
The prices of the products available on afrostore.be are displayed in euros and include the applicable tax. Afrostore.be reserves the right to modify the prices of the products at any time. However, the prices applied are those in effect at the time the order is placed.
Shipping costs are not included in the product prices and will be added at the time of finalizing the order.
Afrostore.be reserves the right to cancel an order in the event of an obvious error in the displayed price of a product.
Article 5: Payment terms
By accepting these General Conditions of Sale (GCS), you accept the payment terms by Shopify Payments for any purchase made on our website Afrostore.be.
Afrostore.be accepts major credit and debit cards, such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express as well as other local payment methods depending on the region (bancontact, etc...).
All transactions made are secured by Shopify Payments.
Your account will be billed upon validation of your order.
Article 6: Delivery
Your package is generally delivered up to 7 days maximum after receipt of your payment.
The standard shipping method is Bpost and Mondial Relay. We will send you a link as soon as possible that allows you to track the progress of your package online.
Shipping costs include packaging, handling and postage. They are set - depending on the shipping area - based on the weight of your order, including its packaging which can vary from 1 to 5 kg depending on the nature and quantity of the items ordered, or the total volume of the package(s).
We recommend that you group your purchases into a single order, as we cannot group two separate orders (in which case you will have to pay shipping costs for each of them).
Your package travels at our risk: we are insured in the event of damage, loss, theft or theft. Packages containing fragile products are carefully protected.
To reduce our impact on the environment, we do not send paper invoices. You will receive your invoice as a PDF file in an email as soon as your order is shipped.
To find out the shipping costs for your order, you must select the products of your choice and the destination country. They depend on the contents of your order and its delivery address.

Article 7 : Transfer of ownership and risks
Your package is covered by our insurance during its transit: we are responsible in the event of deterioration, loss, theft or theft. Packages containing fragile items are handled with care for maximum protection. Once the package is delivered to the customer, Afrostore by Teroubi declines all responsibility for its safety and condition.
Article 8: Withdrawal
The customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise his right of withdrawal. To do so, he must inform Afrostore by Teroubi by email at info@afrostore.be or by telephone at 0494 456 105. The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase within 14 days following the withdrawal request.
In some cases, Afrostore may charge for packaging and delivery costs.
Article 9: Legal product guarantee
Afrostore.be guarantees that its products do not contain hidden defects and are in accordance with their description. In the event of a problem, the consumer benefits from a legal guarantee of 2 years from the date of receipt of the product. To benefit from this guarantee, the consumer must report any hidden defect within 2 months of its discovery.
Under this legal guarantee, the consumer has the right to a refund or exchange of the product.
Article 10: Reimbursement
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
The return of certain types of goods is not permitted. Similarly, we do not accept intimate or sanitary products, hazardous materials or substances, or flammable liquids or gases.
Other items that are not eligible for return:
* Gift cards
* Products already used
* Products already used, outside their original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Do not return your purchase to the manufacturer.
In some cases, only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for any reason not due to our error.
* Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also let you know whether your refund is approved or denied.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and your credit card or original method of payment will automatically be credited, within a few days.
Delayed or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often a processing time before a refund is posted.

Returns and Exchanges Policy
Return and general conditions
At Afrostore, you have 14 days after receiving your order to request an exchange, credit or refund. Items must be returned in their original condition, with their packaging and all accessories included. They must not be damaged, cleaned or used.
Return procedure
To make a return, ship the items by registered parcel to the following address:

Before sending, contact us at info@afrostore.be to obtain validation and provide us with the tracking number . Keep this number for your references. Return costs are your responsibility and are not refundable. In the event of a full refund, Afrostore may, in certain cases, deduct the initial shipping costs as well as the packaging costs.
Deadlines and refunds
After receiving and examining your package, we will contact you within a maximum of 15 days to confirm processing. Refunds are made by bank transfer . If a suitable replacement item is not available, we will contact you by email or telephone to agree on a suitable solution.

Article 11: Complaint and dispute
In the event of a dispute or complaint regarding a product or service purchased from Afrostore by Teroubi, the customer may contact the company via the contact form available on the website or by email at info@afrostore.be.
Afrostore by Teroubi undertakes to process all complaints as quickly as possible and to do everything possible to resolve the dispute amicably.
In the event that the customer is not satisfied with the solution proposed by Afrostore by Teroubi, he can turn to the online dispute resolution (ODR) platform via the address http://ec.europa.eu/odr
Article 12: Applicable law and competent court
These general conditions of sale are subject to Belgian law.
In the event of a dispute between Afrostore by Teroubi and a professional client, the dispute will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.
In the event of a dispute between Afrostore by Teroubi and a consumer customer, the dispute will be under the jurisdiction of the court of the consumer's domicile or the court of the place where the consumer usually resides, in accordance with the legal provisions in force.
Withdrawal form
