These General Conditions of Sale (CGV) apply to sales made on Afrostore.be.
Article 2: Conclusion of an online contract with Afrostore.be

Choose the products you want to purchase and add them to your cart by clicking on the corresponding button.

Article 3: Products
Teroubi ASBL, via its site afrostore.be, offers a selection of unique artisanal items imported from West Africa. Each product is unique and may have variations in color, shape and size, due to its artisanal manufacturing.
Article 4: Price
The prices of products available on afrostore.be are displayed in euros and include the applicable tax. Afrostore.be reserves the right to modify product prices at any time. However, the prices applied are those in effect at the time the order is placed.
Delivery costs are not included in product prices and will be added when finalizing the order.
Article 5: Payment terms
By accepting these General Conditions of Sale (CGV), you accept the payment terms by Shopify Payments for any purchases made on our Afrostore.be website.
Afrostore.be accepts major credit and debit cards, such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express as well as other local payment methods depending on the region (bancontact, etc...).
All transactions made are secured by Shopify Payments.
Your account will be billed upon validation of your order. The charges will appear on your credit card statement under the name Teroubi ASBL.
Article 6: Delivery
Your package is generally delivered up to 7 days maximum after receipt of your payment.
The standard shipping method is Bpost and Mondial Relay. We will send you a link as soon as possible that allows you to track the delivery of your package online.
Shipping costs include packaging, handling and postage. They are set - depending on the shipping area - depending on the weight of your order, including its packaging which can vary from 1 to 5 kg depending on the nature and quantity of the items ordered, or the total volume of the package(s). .
We advise you to group your purchases into a single order, as we cannot group two separate orders (in this case you will have to pay shipping costs for each of them).
Your package travels at our risk: we are insured in the event of damage, loss, theft or theft. Packages containing fragile products are carefully protected.
To reduce our impact on the environment, we do not send paper invoices. You will receive your invoice as a PDF file in an email as soon as your order is shipped.
To find out the amount of shipping costs for your order, you must select the products of your choice and the country of destination. They depend on the content of your order and its delivery address.

Article 7 : Transfer of ownership and risks
Your package is covered by our insurance during transit: we are responsible in the event of damage, loss, theft or theft. Packages containing fragile items are handled with care for maximum protection. Once the package is delivered to the customer, Teroubi ASBL declines all responsibility for its safety and condition.
Article 8: Withdrawal
The customer has 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal. To do this, he must inform Teroubi asbl by email at info@teroubi.be or by telephone at 0494 456 105. The refund will be made using the same payment method used during the purchase within 14 days following the request for payment. retraction.
Any clause requiring the customer to waive this right is null and void.
Article 9: Legal guarantee of products
Afrostore.be guarantees that its products do not contain hidden defects and comply with their description. In the event of a problem, the consumer benefits from a legal guarantee of 2 years from the date of receipt of the product. To benefit from this guarantee, the consumer must report any hidden defect within 2 months of its discovery.
Under this legal guarantee, the consumer has the right to a refund or exchange of the product.
Article 10: Reimbursement
Our policy lasts 30 days. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer refunds or exchanges.
To be eligible for return, your item must be unused and in the condition you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
The return of certain types of goods is not permitted. Likewise, we do not accept intimate or sanitary products, dangerous materials or substances, nor flammable liquids or gases.
Other items not permitted for return:

* Products already in use
* Products already used, out of their original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Trades
We only replace items that are initially defective or damaged. If you need to replace yours with the same item, send us an email to info@teroubi.be and send your item to: 34 Rue Eugene de Smet, Brussels, 1090, Belgium.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit equal to the value of the item being returned. Once the returned item is received, a gift voucher will be sent to you by post.
If the item was not marked as a gift at the time of purchase, or if the gift giver had the order sent to them with the intention of giving it to you later, it is her that we will send the refund and she will therefore know that you have returned her gift.
Shipping

Article 12: Applicable law and competent court
These general conditions of sale are subject to Belgian law.
In the event of a dispute between Teroubi ASBL and a professional client, the dispute will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.
In the event of a dispute between Teroubi ASBL and a consumer customer, the dispute will be under the jurisdiction of the court of the consumer's domicile or the court of the place where the consumer usually resides, in accordance with the legal provisions in force.
